Due to the impact on our supply chain and with no clear end to the current situation in sight, with immediate effect we will be changing our business model from make-to-order to a make-to-stock model. This means that we will no longer be taking advanced orders for our products, but will instead be listing them for sale on the website.
What this means to you is that you will no longer be able to secure a 'spot in the queue' by paying a deposit, but will instead have to buy via the web-store on a first-come-first-served basis.
With demand currently exceeding supply this will initially result in low or zero stock on most items whilst we satisfy current orders and build stock. It may take some time before we catch up with current demand. We will be trying some new strategies on how we package our products to make them more available and easier to manage, this includes separating items that have longer lead times.
We apologise for those of you who have been planning to make purchases, but without the ability to provide accurate and reasonable lead times we no longer feel comfortable taking advance orders.
The new web-store is expected to go live from early January
