For a long time now we've been trying to move away from modifying off-the-shelf pulleys and bringing crank pulley manufacture in-house. Not only does this mean that we are not reliant on third party stock, but it also allows us to customise our crank pulleys in ways that were not possible before.
Our updated crank pulley design features a 3 piece construction that starts with a CNC manufactured steel hub. The generator pulley then mounts to the hub with six countersunk socket head screws.
The blower drive takeoff pulley then mounts to the face of the generator pulley in the same fashion as the existing design. This three piece design allows us to customise both the takeoff pulley and the generator pulley.
All orders now ship with the new pulley design. So if you purchase one of our performance kits, or a crank pulley by itself, you will be receiving the new design.
